AT&T LG Vu Review

LG Vu is a touch-screen phone with a 3-inch screen. It comes with AT & T Mobile TV, which is hard to watch, but neat. Fast HSDPA speedscome from USB-Modem, 2.0-megapixel camera that is handy, but not great, full HTML browser that I use in emergency situations, and quad-band support.

the camera has no flash, and learning to use the touch screen takes some time. Streaming video can sometimes be choppy and it was neat to be able to see YouTube on the Vu, but I do not really use, the screen is small, so I watch those on the laptop. Do not use the TV because I do not really watch TV, but Vu has an antenna that can be extended to improve reception. Using the Vu as a modem for my laptop means getting the USB cable to the one of AT & T stores or at Amazon.com.

This is one of the best phones I have ever used!

3-inch WQVGA 262K color touch screen only when you touch the screen with your finger or stylus or pen, I actually use a straw. 2MP camera with autofocus takes pictures pritiskomisti keys used to dial and hang up phone calls and photos can be sent by e-mail on where god.HTML web browser gives me an e-mail and respond to the VU's OK to use on-screen keyboard. Little finger would be nice sometimes! HSDPA connectivity is great, McAfee speed test showed my laptop to connect to more than 500mps Vu through internal USB modem. 120MB of internal memory is enough for my cell phone address book, calendar, etc. USB mass storage mode with 4 GB microSD card is inserted to save my favorite mp3, a bunch of family photos, and a place to backup files from my laptop.

the actual size is 4.25 "H x 2.16" W x 0.51 "D, which is slightly larger than most cell phones, but really only big enough for what makes the phone. 1000mAh battery supplies up to 3-hours of talk time and worked great always remain fully charged.

in combination with my IBM ThinkPad T23 laptop I love this phone! Vu modem connecting my laptop to the web anywhere, I telephone lets me text messages and e-mail anywhere.

My favorite phone so far, not iPhone, but all I need.
